FAQ
Fees, slippage, price impact — and what to do when an order's result can't be confirmed.
Our team will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, or a transfer by DM.
What are the fees?
MEMETERMINAL's platform fee is 0.5%, charged once on a Jupiter swap that pays or receives SOL or USDC: on a buy it comes out of the SOL or USDC you pay, on a sell out of the SOL or USDC you receive. It is part of the same transaction as the swap, so a failed order is not charged. Token-to-token swaps with no SOL or USDC on either side, and MPAD bonding-curve trades, carry no MEMETERMINAL platform fee — the curve still has its own trading fee. You also pay the Solana network fee (including the priority fee), and each pool's (DEX's) trading fee is already built into the quoted price.
What is slippage and what should I set it to?
Slippage is the worst price move you'll accept after getting a quote. The default is Auto (Jupiter dynamic slippage, up to 5% · 3% on the MPAD curve); you can also pick a 1/3/5/10% preset or enter a custom value up to 50%. Values of 10% or more show a warning. If the price moves past your setting, the order does not execute. A wider slippage fills more easily but can fill at a worse price.
What is price impact?
How much worse than the current price your fill is because of your own order size — it grows as pool liquidity gets thinner. We warn at 5%, ask you to confirm again at 15%, and block buys at 50% or more (sells are allowed after a stronger confirmation). To reduce it, split your order.
The status says the result couldn't be confirmed. What should I do?
The transaction was sent but we haven't confirmed yet whether it executed — it is not a failure. Placing the same order again could fill twice, so new orders for this token are paused. 1) Open the signature link in the status line and check it on Solscan: Success means it filled; Failed means it did not execute and only the network fee was charged. 2) Tap Check again to re-read the chain. 3) Once the transaction's validity window (about 1–2 minutes) has passed, the result becomes final. If you've verified it yourself, tap I've checked it to release the lock. If it still isn't resolved, email us the Solscan link through the official contact below.
My order failed. Was I charged?
An order shown as failed did not execute. If it failed on-chain, only the Solana network fee was charged; if it was refused before sending, nothing was charged. Check your balance (including SOL for network fees) and your slippage, then try again with a new quote.
